On May 20 The Barnes Academy experienced a bittersweet moment as she graduated six precious students. The night was filled with years of love, happiness, and treasured moments.

Barnes Academy concentrates on the child as a whole: spiritually, mentally, educationally, and physically. Barnes’ goal is to help each child shine in the area where God has blessed him or her, whatever it may be. This is our way of preparing the students for the world and for serving God through the gifts He has given them. College is not an option; it is a choice: College or Technical School, 4 years or 2 years? This year’s graduating class has a 100% college acceptance for the fall of 2008.

God has truly blessed this ministry and has opened unbelievable doors for other ministry opportunities! The school is now officially three years old and going strong with accreditation from the Georgia Accrediting Council and memberships in the Georgia Association of Christian Schools, Georgia Scholastic Press Association, and American Association of Christian Schools.
